This page covers the waitlist on this website and nothing else. The SynexisOS app is a separate thing with a separate story, and it is not built yet.
When you type your address into the form on the front page, we store:
The waitlist table has no column for an IP address, raw or hashed. There is a test in our codebase that fails if one is ever added, and a second that rejects the field by name. That is deliberate: an address is what we need to email you, and nothing else is.
No cookies set by this page. No analytics. No advertising identifiers. No profile, no scoring, no enrichment from any third party.
We use double opt-in. When you submit the form, your address is stored straight away and marked unconfirmed, then we email you a link. That link opens a page with a Confirm button, and pressing that button is what puts you on the list. The extra press exists because mail scanners follow links automatically, and a scanner must not be able to confirm on your behalf. Until you press it, you are on no list we will ever mail — but your address is already recorded, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise.
If you never confirm, the row simply sits there unconfirmed and you hear nothing further. It is kept, not deleted — there is no sweep that removes unconfirmed addresses after a month or a year, so it stays until you ask us to remove it. Email us and it goes.
Sending email requires a company that sends email. We use Resend, and your address passes through them so the confirmation can reach you. They act on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes.
That is the only third party involved. This page loads no fonts, no scripts and no images from anywhere else — open your browser's network tab and you will see requests to this domain and nothing more.
In a single SQLite database file on a server we rent from Hetzner in Germany, reachable only by us. It does not leave that server except to reach Resend when we send you the confirmation.
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and your mail app's own unsubscribe button works too. One click and we stop.
When you unsubscribe we keep your email address and mark it as unsubscribed. That sounds backwards, so here is the reason: if we deleted the row entirely, the next time anyone typed your address into the form we would mail you again, and your request would have meant "until someone types it in once more". Keeping the address is the only way the request holds. Your name and your optional answer are both deleted at the same moment — you asked to be left alone, and those were the only things you told us beyond the address itself.
If you would rather be erased completely, including the suppression record, email hello@synexisos.ai and we will do it — with the caveat above, that a fresh signup with the same address would then reach you again.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@synexisos.ai. There is not much to send you — your address, two timestamps, which form you used, your name if you gave one, and possibly one word — but you are entitled to it and you will get it.
If this page changes in a way that affects what we do with your address, we will email everyone on the list before it takes effect.
SynexisOS is operated by Mandela Dilegal, an individual, at hello@synexisos.ai. There is no company behind it — a sole proprietorship is not a separate legal person, so the operator is the person.
